Pick the format that fits your trip
7-Day Trip Itinerary
The classic one-week plan: seven day cards, each split into morning, afternoon and evening, with a transport line and a running budget column.
A single-city or two-city week away
Weekend Getaway Itinerary
A short-trip planner built around a Friday-night arrival and a Sunday-afternoon train or flight home.
48–60 hour city breaks
Family Vacation Itinerary
A day planner that admits families move slower: fewer slots, built-in downtime, meal times that actually appear on the page.
Trips with kids or mixed-age groups
Road Trip Planner
A leg-by-leg driving planner: start, end, distance, drive time, planned stops and where you sleep.
Multi-day drives and van trips
Business Travel Itinerary
A single page you can forward to a colleague: flights, hotel, meetings, transfers and expense codes.
Conferences and client trips
Backpacking / Multi-Country Itinerary
A route-level planner: each row is a city with nights, arrival transport, hostel and budget, so you can see the whole trip at once.
Long trips across several countries
Packing Checklist
A grouped checklist you reuse every trip: documents, clothes, tech, toiletries, health and carry-on.
Every trip, reused forever

Japan in 7 Days
One week is enough for two cities and one detour. This plan uses Tokyo and Kyoto as bases with a night in Hakone between them, so you unpack three times instead of six.
Best time · Late March–May and October–November
Budget · £120–£180 / $150–$220 per person per day
Italy in 7 Days
Two cities and one countryside day. Rome and Florence are 90 minutes apart by fast train, which is what makes a week here work without living on transport.
Best time · April–June and September–October
Budget · £110–£160 / $140–$200 per person per day
Iceland Ring Road
The full Ring Road in eight days is brisk but doable if you accept 3–4 hours of driving most days and skip the Westfjords.
Best time · June–August for full access; September for fewer people
Budget · £150–£220 / $190–$280 per person per day including the car
Thailand in 10 Days
Ten days splits cleanly into three: two nights Bangkok, three nights Chiang Mai, four nights on an island, one travel day absorbed.
Best time · November–February
Budget · £45–£90 / $55–$115 per person per day
Portugal in 7 Days
Two cities, one castle day and a train ride between them. Lisbon and Porto are under three hours apart on the Alfa Pendular, which is what makes a week here comfortable rather than rushed.
Best time · March–June and September–October
Budget · £80–£130 / $100–$165 per person per day
Vietnam in 12 Days
Vietnam is long. Twelve days works if you fly the two big hops and stay put in three places rather than chasing every stop on the map.
Best time · North: October–April. Central and south: December–April.
Budget · £40–£75 / $50–$95 per person per day
Greece in 10 Days
Three nights of ruins, then a week of islands. Two islands beats four — Greek ferries eat half a day every time you move.
Best time · May–June and September–early October
Budget · £100–£160 / $125–$200 per person per day
New Zealand South Island in 10 Days
Christchurch to Queenstown the long way round. Ten days covers the west coast glaciers, the fiords and the lakes if you accept real driving days.
Best time · December–March for summer; October–November for fewer people
Budget · £120–£190 / $150–$240 per person per day including the car
Why Free Travel Itinerary
Planning material we'd use ourselves
Written by planners, not generators
Every itinerary is built around realistic travel times, opening hours and rest days — the details that make plans fall apart when they're missing.
Honest budget ranges
Each destination plan carries a per-person, per-day range with the assumptions stated, so you can scale it to how you actually travel.
Free and unlocked
No paywall, no email wall, no watermark. Download the file, edit it, share it with whoever you're travelling with.
Kept current
Guides state where rules change and point you to the official source, because entry requirements and prices move faster than any article.

The research, done once
Passport & Visa Checklist
Most entry problems are avoidable and happen at check-in, not at the border. Airlines are fined for carrying passengers who will be refused entry, so they enforce the rules strictly. Run these checks before you pay for anything non-refundable.
How to Budget a Trip
Most travel budgets fail the same way: they count flights and hotels, then absorb everything else with a shrug. Splitting the budget into fixed costs and a daily rate makes it accurate and easy to track while you're away.
Packing by Climate
Packing lists fail because they're written for a trip in general rather than a climate in particular. Choose the fabric system first, then the number of items, and most trips fit in a carry-on.
When to Book Flights
Airline pricing is dynamic and demand-driven, which means there is no magic day of the week. There are, however, reliable booking windows and a small number of habits that genuinely reduce what you pay.
